Maarten received an MSc degree in Computer Science from Ghent University in July 2022. In September 2022, he joined the Techno-Economic research unit at the Internet and Data Lab research group at the same university. He is currently working towards a PhD in Engineering where the emphasis of his research is on decentralized data ecosystems.
